IPL Permanent Hair Reduction
What is the difference between IPL & Laser?
The key difference between laser and IPL is the type of light. IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a broadband pulsed light source, whereas laser is a monochromatic coherent light source. Both methods target the melanin in the hair follicle and permanent results can be expected from both.
Our IPL machine is most effective on darker hairs that contrast a pale skin.
Permanent hair reduction is performed using a powerful laser or Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology to target and heat the hair follicles. Successfully damaged follicles are then no longer able to produce new hairs.
Treatment parameters are determined based on several factors, including skin type, hair color, hair size and density, treatment stage and body part.
Formatk’s permanent hair reduction devices have been specifically designed with these considerations in mind, enabling practitioners to achieve better results by tailoring each treatment according to the patient’s physiology and treatment stage.
We recommend 10 -12 sessions with 4-5 week intervals. After the course is complete (Top-ups maybe required & could vary from 1-4 times per year)
Dormant hair follicles may grow due to hormones, medication, and age.
We have a great deal where you can purchase 10 sessions for the price of 5!
